Learning how to publish eBooks is surprisingly easy, if you have the right information to walk you through every single step. When I started publishing there were no single A – Z guides that covered every little aspect of all the different tasks. I purchased many books that cave many "what to do" but not "how to do it" books. And they only covered one of many areas of publishing.
The good news is that it can be done, and for much less than the cost of hiring expensive consultants who will charge you prices such as $ 3,000 for the copy (text) on your book cover. That's correct. $ 3,000 for the text and that does not include graphics. Or other services that offer to format your Word file for around $ 1,000. Fortunately I learned how to write decent sales copy that probably is probably as good as the $ 3,000 consultant. I also learned how to format the Word file and it only took a couple of hours (I consider that the same as earning $ 500 per hour).
You can learn these skills too. You can learn how to publish eBook on a shoe string budget with a little effort. This allows you to pump out many eBooks in a short period of time at very low cost. You can also start your own consulting company and sell your services at pricey consultant rates.
Another amazing thing I learned is that once you know how to publish eBooks there is a system to simply convert the files for print on demand and upload the file to the largest print on demand on company in the world. Once you approve your proof your eBook will become a physical book available in 90% of the booksellers in the world. It is a wonderful feeling to go into a bookstore and stand in front of a book stand where your book sits proudly (and if your picture is on the cover you will get some interesting looks from other customers in the store).
